Frozen Grapes: a Refreshing Snack or a Tasty Drink Cooler

When it's hot outside, what's better than a icy snack? Or at the end of a hot day, do you like to enjoy a nice cool glass of white white as the sun goes down? I've discovered that freezing grapes makes them perfect for snacking and for keeping drinks cool.

This is such a simple idea. When you next buy some seedless grapes, wash and dry them, then pop a few in the freezer in a bag or box. Do this in the morning and by evening you have a colourful ice cube to use in water, juice, or wine. Or just eat them directly from the freezer. My husband liked them as a bite-sized icy treat after a hot day outside. Kids would love the way their teeth have to break the frozen skin to get to the cold, juicy insides.

These are easier than making popsicles and more fun. Try them and let me know what you think.

What's your favourite frozen treat?
